I have been visiting this web site called Life Student and its daddy and its Grandpa. All told, I have been reading Halcyon’s writings for 6 years. (side note: Holy cow! That’s a long time in ‘net years)
It seems that for the past two years, Halcyon, despite his rockin’ body (yummy!), artistic talents and other blessings (college education, wonderful family, etc.) he has turned into a whiny, self-indulgent pussy.
And this is a great example of that.
Speaking for myself, I have been there. The glued-to-your-chair inability to move forward, take chances and do what you need to be doing.
The fact of the matter is that if you want to be doing something with your life, you gotta just fucking do it. Look at the problems in your life decide that you are NOT ok with them. Decide that you want better for yourself. That you will not accept the way things are. Realize and rejoice in that you ARE the master of your life.
Because when it comes right down to it, no one wants to have their obituary read: “He would have done some great things, but he was too afraid to even try.”
